HIGHER RETAINED QUALITY THROUGH FAST DRYDOWN

Faster hay drying not only means beating the weather, it allows you to get crop out of the field with maximum feed quality. New Holland offers three effective solutions for fast drying of high-quality feed, including gentle rubber chevron intermeshing rolls for alfalfa and other legume crops, flail tine conditioning for grass hay, and a lower-horsepower model with no conditioning that’s ideal for silage making.

STEEL FLAIL TINE CONDITIONING

Steel flail tines are positioned at an angle to the rotor’s center, providing increased outward crop pressure against the adjustable conditioning hood and improving swath and windrow formation. You can adjust the hood to change the conditioning intensity. The semi-swinging flail tines allow obstructions to pass, for better protection compared to fixed poly or steel tines. And unlike conventional, free-swinging tines, they cannot swing back over center, but are held in the ideal place by centrifugal force for efficient and effective conditioning and uniform swath and windrow formation.
